We didn't get the house.
We offered 20% over asking price and didn't even get a counter offer. They accepted an all cash offer that was way over what we offered. I'm disappointed, but you know, it is only a house.
I also think that whomever bought the house overpaid. And as much as I love our neighborhood, if I had $1.5 million in cash I wouldn't live here.

My husband and I bought our home in June for 20% over asking]--and now I am stuck in it on bedrest with my damn incompetent cervix! And it's just getting sunny here in San Francisco...
But more importantly, thanks so much for this blog. I lost twin girls at 19 weeks, and I am now going through my next pregnancy. It's good to hear a happy ending.
